About ValueHub
ValueHub is an independent New Zealand financial comparison site. We started it because finding clear, unbiased information about NZ financial products — what they actually cost, what the terms actually say — was harder than it should be.
Our guides are researched and written by a small team, and every one is reviewed before publication by Steve Baron, who founded the site.
Who reviews the site
Steve has spent more than 30 years in business as an entrepreneur and director. He holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Waikato and an Honours degree in Political Science from Victoria University of Wellington. He is a columnist whose opinion writing has appeared in newspapers around New Zealand.
He reviews every article, guide and trade page before it goes live.

What we're not
